This can occur sometimes if you have the Spotify app installed and it has been running in the background. Force quit Pulsar and Spotify, then open Pulsar and tap the LOG IN WITH SPOTIFY button again. This should succeed this time around.
Sometimes communication between the phone app and watch can be interrupted, in these watch/phone app may not respond to actions taken on the counterpart application. A quick fix for this is to launch the watch app, then the phone app, log out of on the phone and then immediately log back in.
